We are committed to minimizing our ecological footprint and actively contributing to the preservation of Bali’s precious ecosystems.
- Carbon Offset Program: We acknowledge that our transportation services have a carbon footprint. We have partnered with a VERRA-certified Indonesian organization to calculate the total emissions from our vehicle fleet annually. We then invest in verified carbon offset projects, such as the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve project in Borneo, which protects peatland forests and supports local communities.
- Eliminating Single-Use Plastics: We have a strict zero single-use plastic policy for our client-facing operations. Instead of plastic water bottles, our vehicles are stocked with reusable glass bottles filled with purified water from a local Balinese supplier. Our welcome amenities are packaged in sustainable, locally-made materials.
- Sustainable Fleet Transition: We are actively working to green our vehicle fleet. Our procurement policy prioritizes hybrid vehicles, and we are committed to incorporating fully electric vehicles, such as the Hyundai IONIQ 5, as charging infrastructure on the island becomes more robust.
- Supporting Marine Conservation: A portion of our annual profits is donated to the Coral Triangle Center in Sanur. This contribution supports their vital work in marine conservation, protecting the coral reefs that are the lifeblood of our oceans and a key attraction for visitors to Indonesia.
Community Empowerment (Harmony Among People)
Our success is intrinsically linked to the well-being of the local community. We are dedicated to being a positive force for local employment and economic development.
- Local Hiring and Development: Over 95% of our team members are Indonesian nationals, with a significant majority being of Balinese origin. We invest heavily in training and professional development, providing our local team with career paths, not just jobs. All employees are provided with comprehensive health and social security benefits through BPJS, as detailed on our Safety & Compliance page.
- Supporting Local Enterprises: We prioritize sourcing from local businesses. The refreshments in our vehicles, the cold towels we offer on arrival, and the handcrafted welcome gifts are all procured from small Balinese enterprises and social businesses. This ensures that the economic benefits of our operations are distributed within the community.
- Community Project Contributions: We contribute to the local banjar (traditional village council) in the Tuban area, near the airport. Our support helps fund community initiatives, from waste management programs to cultural preservation activities.
